The Original Cookie Fondo
Malibu CA
In Phil Gaimon’s years as a pro cyclist, when he mentioned that he lived in Los Angeles, people would ask how he could train in a town known only for traffic and movie stars, but pro teams have held training camps in Malibu for years, and here's your chance to find out why.
Phil’s Fondo is his chance to show off the great climbs, ocean air, and perfect weather, to help Los Angeles get the reputation it deserves as a world-class cycling destination. Phil designed the courses himself, collected rider gifts from his favorite sponsors, and thanks to our fundraising partners, Chef’s Cycle and No Kid Hungry, we’ll have celebrity chefs and Michelin stars providing lunch at the expo Saturday, post-ride dinner Sunday, and gourmet cookies all weekend, for an LA food experience that would be worth the price of registration by itself.
Santa Barbara 100
October 2024
www.ridesb100.com
The Santa Barbara 100 takes place in one of the most beautiful and challenging locations in the United States. We offer three distinct courses to suit every cyclist’s ability - each course offering a world class Santa Barbara cycling experience. All courses start at the Leadbetter beach park and follow the beautiful Santa Barbara beachfront before tuning inland to experience all Santa Barbara has to offer. Cyclists will wind through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country; experience the rolling foothills lined with citrus and avocado orchards of the front range; and climb some of the most famous mountains in the country, all while experiencing one of the most beautiful views in southern California.
Each course offers a distinct cycling experience. Riders of the 100 mile course will experience all Santa Barbara has to offer and be challenged by 9000 feet of climbing, including the “Gibraltar Wealth Management Challenge” a 7 mile time trial up Gibraltar road, before descending back toward the ocean for a beach-front finish. Our 100 kilometer course offers the same experience as the 100 mile without the high country climbs. The 34 mile course offers the novice cyclist an amazing introduction to the Santa Barbara experience. No matter which course you choose, you will understand why many of the nations top pro cyclists make Santa Barbara their winter training playground.
Mike Nosco Memorial Ride
November 3, 2024
Virtual event this year.
Over the past five years, the Mike Nosco Memorial Bicycle Ride has become an increasingly successful community event that has grown significantly each year. There has been an overwhelming outpouring of generosity from our community, making the ride very special to all that participate – as riders and as volunteers. As I work to preserve my brother’s memory through the Michael P. Nosco Foundation, my main goal is to provide financial relief to families and/or individuals in our community. The emotional support that comes with 500+ people showing up in their honor is incredible! Your support means a lot to them and goes a long way in providing inspiration and strength to our recipients and their families.
